Climarite has been busy installing coldrooms and freezers across schools in Wales, as part of the governments’ universal school meals initiative.
So far, our team of install engineers have completed bespoke walk-in refrigeration systems in four schools – two in Rhyl and two in Prestatyn – with more planned in the coming months.
The custom-built coldrooms and freezers were supplied by Celltherm and incorporate Danfoss condensing units and Kelvion evaporators. This, combined with work from our most experienced install engineers, guaranteed a high-quality finish, which is not only energy-efficient and cost-effective but durable too.
The Welsh government has sent ambitious targets to roll out the plan to provide free meals to all children age 4-7 by 2024 to counter act the cost of living crisis. This supports a wider initiative across the United Kingdom.
As a family-run business with many young children amongst our team, this is a project we feel especially proud to be a part of.
