Climarite Refrigeration has officially launched into the industrial sector with a dedicated division and leadership team.
The move has been described by the company, which is based in Skelmersdale, Lancashire as a natural progression and inevitable expansion, as demand for its industrial engineering services has grown significantly over the past 12 months.
Climarite, which established a strong reputation in the commercial sector to become one of the leading refrigeration specialists in the Northwest, credits recent appointments and an improved team skillset for paving the way into industrial and considers it a milestone moment for the company.
Patrick Connolly, Managing Director at Climarite comments on the expansion: “our venture into industrial is the result of building a team of incredibly experienced and technically capable engineers, rather than a deliberate plan on my part. It is their expertise and passion that has gradually pulled us in the sector and presented the opportunity to grow in this direction – and I am only too pleased to support this next step.
“The commercial side of the business will always be at the core of what we do but by expanding our services we provide the best possible customer experience and enrichment within the company”.
Climarite’s current industrial client roster includes manufacturing, food production, agriculture, large-scale old storage and distribution centres.
As part of the expansion, Climarite is investing in a comprehensive training programme for existing team members, as well as the recruitment of additional specialist engineers. The company is also working with key partners to ensure adequate infrastructure is in place to support ambitious growth plans.
Andy Forshaw has recently been promoted from senior engineer to install supervisor at Climarite Refrigeration and is instrumental in the businesses growth towards the industrial sector. He said: “Despite the company’s reputation being built in the commercial sector, the wider team has a great deal of technical expertise and experience working on industrial equipment. It would be foolish not to utilise this skill set, especially when it enhances our existing services to clients and there is such strong demand.
“We have already embarked on a training programme to certify and upskill our current engineers, prioritising those with a particular interest in working on large-scale industrial equipment. We are also looking at integrating this into existing apprenticeship and trainee schemes, as well as recruiting for additional talent with this specialism.”
Climarite’s services includes the installation, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive emergency breakdown repair of all commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
