Following the company’s contribution to the “Universal School Meals” initiative in North Wales; Climarite has been awarded a contract with Denbighshire Council to support 24 schools in the area.
Our team of refrigeration engineers will cover both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) – two per school per calendar year – and provide reactive service response to breakdowns on all refrigeration equipment, such as walk-in chillers and walk-in freezers. Climarite has also committed to ensuring all PPM work is carried out during the school holidays to minimise disruption and maximise efficiency.
The partnership will include both Primary and Secondary schools and support Denbighshire Council’s ongoing commitment to boosting cold storage, as well as continuing high standards in food safety and catering services.
The Welsh Government, in partnership with Plaid Cymru, aims to provide nearly five million extra free school meals to Primary school pupils by 2024. For further information visit: https://www.gov.wales/universal-primary-free-school-meals-upfsm
