The City of Liverpool College is set to expand its refrigeration apprenticeships program in a bid to close the skills gap and contribute to a greener future.
From September, the College will be moving away from the existing ‘day release’ model of its Level 3 The Refrigeration Air Conditioning and Heat Pump (RACHP) Engineering Technician Apprenticeship and instead rolling out a ‘block release’ structure. The main advantage of this new structure is the widening of its geographical reach to entice students from further afield and better support employers across the region.
As an employer of refrigeration engineers across the North West – including Lancashire, Manchester and Merseyside – this is a welcome development for our company.
