Celebrating the people, skills and technology keeping the world cool.
Today, Climarite Refrigeration is proud to celebrate World Refrigeration Day 2026 and the vital role our industry plays in everyday life.
From keeping food fresh and safe, to supporting manufacturing, healthcare, retail and the growing demand for energy-efficient heating and cooling, refrigeration and air conditioning are essential to modern life.
But behind every system is a skilled engineer — and at Climarite, we’re passionate about investing in the people who keep our industry moving forward.
This year has been particularly special for us, as our first two apprentices, Mick Brady and Alex Forkings, have graduated from City of Liverpool College as fully qualified Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Heat Pump (RACHP) engineers. Both are continuing their careers with Climarite, with big ambitions for the future.
As our industry continues to evolve, developing the next generation of engineers has never been more important. We’re proud to play our part in tackling the skills shortage, creating career opportunities and showing young people just how rewarding a career in refrigeration can be.
Here’s to the engineers, apprentices and businesses helping shape the future of our industry.
Happy World Refrigeration Day 2026!
