Climarite Refrigeration has won “Small Company Achievement of the Year” at the RAC Cooling Awards in London.
Credited for its recent diversification to drive business growth, as well as overall contribution to the refrigeration industry, Climarite beat strong competition to receive the prestigious award.
Judges were also impressed by Climarite’s commitment to training and apprenticeships, engagement with neighbouring education centres, its impact on the local community and carbon reduction plan.
Patrick Connolly, managing director at Climarite said: “we were honestly in shock when our company’s name got called out, but the team here thoroughly deserve the recognition gained and I’m delighted for them.
“Our aim has always been to do the best job possible for our customers and create a great place for the team to work. More recently we’ve also implemented a plan centred around local recruitment, apprenticeships and training, as well as better supporting the local community – we consider this both a success and a privilege.”

Two of Climarite’s third-year apprentices, Michael Brady and Alex Forkings also reached the final in the “Student of the Year Category” and were celebrated as the future of the industry.
RAC Cooling Awards was held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane, London on Thursday 25th September 2025. The event aims to honour the outstanding achievements within the AVACR (air ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration) sector, bringing together the industry’s leading experts and top tier businesses.
