Climarite has begun a nationwide refrigeration upgrade at a leading holiday park as part of its robust energy management plan. The roll out will cover all 38 parks including Blackpool, Lytham St Anne’s and the Lake District.
The upgrade will involve switching to Resource Data Management (RDM) controls allowing the client complete control over all refrigeration assets, which will help with energy reduction and cost savings.
Starting with the on-site supermarkets and convenience stores, the new control system will ensure all refrigeration lighting is automatically switched off during closing hours. The BWS (beer, wine and spirit) and drink fridges will also be programmed to turn off outside of opening times.
Furthermore, new energy-efficient evaporator fans are being installed in as part of all refrigeration systems at each site. These upgrades form part of a wider strategy and commitment to sustainability and energy reduction by the client.
Climarite will also carry out PPM (planned preventive maintenance) ongoing for the holiday parks.
The works will be carried out on behalf of Carter Synergy, a leading expert in commercial refrigeration and long-term associate of the business.
