Climarite is EIGHT! 🥳🎂🎉

With a few chunky install projects and lots of PPM on the run up to Spring, our company anniversary almost completely passed us by – Climarite is now EIGHT!

To mark the occasion our founder and Managing Director, Patrick Connolly, reflects on eight lessons he’s learnt since running a business:

1. The solid foundations of a company are built on strong industry knowledge and pure graft – one without the other isn’t enough.
2. Your initial gut instinct is right 99% of the time – but doing your due diligence first will always serve you well.
3. Investing in your business is crucial – people and infrastructure being the two most important. 
4. A strong team is everything – one weak member drags everyone else down, be uncompromising about ethos and standards. 
5. It doesn’t have to be lonely; support is all around you – bouncing ideas off your team, industry contacts, friends and family can help to clarify thoughts and find solutions.
6. Put profit first – money might not be your main motivation but organising finances is crucial, without this your business will not survive let alone thrive.
7. Success is not linear and takes much longer than you think – enjoying the smaller wins helps to keep morale up and maintains sanity. 
8. The tax system will make sure your feet stay firmly on the ground at all times! 😅
